Darjeeling-Gangtok

Darjeeling is a town and municipality in the northernmost region of the Indian state of West Bengal. Located in the Eastern Himalayas, it has an average elevation of 2,045 metres (6,709 ft). To the west of Darjeeling lies the easternmost province of Nepal, to the east the Kingdom of Bhutan, to the north the Indian state of Sikkim, and farther north the Tibet Autonomous Region region of China. Bangladesh lies to the south and southeast, and most of the state of West Bengal lies to the south and southwest, connected to the Darjeeling region by a narrow tract. Kangchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain, rises to the north and is prominently visible on clear days.

Gangtok is a city, municipality, the capital and the most populous city of the Indian state of Sikkim and also the headquarters of Gangtok District. Gangtok is in the eastern Himalayan range, at an elevation of 1,650 m (5,410 ft). The city’s population of 100,000 consists of the three Sikkimese ethnicities the Bhutias, Lepchas, Gorkhalis and also plainsmen from other states of India have settled here. Within the higher peaks of the Himalayas and with a year-round mild temperate climate, Gangtok is at the centre of Sikkim’s tourism industry.

Day 1

Departure
Upon arrival at Siliguri border, our driver will receives the guest from there & proceed towards Siliguri. After a 03 hours journey at an height of 2123 meters / 70001 feet lies the land of breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens with spectacular views of the Mount Everest is the Queen of the hills, they will reach at Darjeeling. Check into hotel & evening free to roam around Mall or local Shopping centre. Over Night stay at Darjeeling.

Day 2

Darjeeling
Sightseeing 03 points + 07 points Darjeeling sightseeing Early morning visit Tiger Hill to view Mt. Kanchanzungha, also Batasia Loop- War memorial & Ghoom Monastery. Come back at Hotel & take breakfast. After Breakfast proceed for 07 points sightseeing including Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Ava Art Gallery, HMI, Zoo, Tenzing Rock, Tea garden etc. At evening free at the Mall & market. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 3

Gangtok
Darjeeling – Gangtok sightseeing After an early breakfast, check out from Darjeeling hotel & proceed towards Gangtok. It will take appox 04 hours to reach Gangtok. After reach their proceed on a visit to World famous Rumtek Monastery(24km), Hanuman Tok(11km), Ganesh Tok(7km), Tashi View point(8km) (Depend On time). After that transfer to Hotel. Check in hotel & Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 4

Gangtok
Tsomgo Lake, After Breakfast Proceed to Tsomgo lake, Whole day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, (depend on Climatic condition). Return Back to Gangtok. Overnight is on Gangtok.

Day 5

Departure
Departure After breakfast check out from hotel and direct Transfer to Siliguri bus counter.
