Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh is a state in the northern part of India. Situated in the Western Himalayas, it is one of the thirteen mountain states and is characterized by an extreme landscape featuring several peaks and extensive river systems. Himachal Pradesh is the northernmost state of India and shares borders with the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to the north, and the states of Punjab to the west, Haryana to the southwest, Uttarakhand to the southeast and a very narrow border with Uttar Pradesh to the south. The state also shares an international border to the east with the Tibet Autonomous Region in China. Himachal Pradesh is also known as Dev Bhoomi or Dev Bhumi, meaning ‘Land of Gods'[10] and Veer Bhoomi which means ‘Land of the Brave’.

Itinerary

The Itinerary is given below –

Day 1

Arrival in Shimla
As soon as you make your presence in Delhi airport, guide you to the former summer capital of India, Shimla which is going to be your first destination on the charts. Soon after this, you will enter the pre-booked hotel, and stay overnight after having dinner!

Day 2

Shimla local sightseeing
Eat the early morning breakfast, and start with the amazing local sightseeing tour to several most-sought places in Shimla namely, The Mall Shimla, Kalibari Temple Shimla, Shimla State Museum, Summer Hill, Jakhu Hills, Sankat Mochan and several shopping centers followed by the sports capital of Shimla, Kufri where you will love the natural set-up with snow, lush greenery and clear skies. Later, return to the hotel in Shimla and stay overnight after having dinner.

Day 3

Shimla- Manikaran- Manali
Have the morning breakfast, and set out on a guided tour to Manali by covering Manikaran midway where you will be glad to be witnessing the famous Sulphur Spring Waters followed by the banks of the mighty Parvati River, Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, and finally proceed to the town of Kullu which is another spectacular hill station on the charts. Post this, you will pay a visit to the beautiful Kasol Valley, and participate in white river rafting in the Beas River with your dear ones to get an adrenaline rush followed by your visit to the Angora Farm, Vaishno Devi Temple (one of the great pilgrimage sites for Hindus and Sikhs), and the Kullu Shawl Industry that again holds a huge relevance. Later, you will be assisted on a drive back to Manali and check-in the hotel to stay overnight after dinner!

Day 4

Manali to Rohtang
In the wake of the morning breakfast, you will start with a beautiful tour to the Rohtang Pass or the famous Snow View Point followed by other spots namely Kothi Gorge, Marhi, Gulaba midway. Soon when you reach Rohtang Pass, you will come across beautiful snow-clad mountains, enchanting lakes and also lush green pine fringes widespread. Post the day adjourns, you will make your way back to the hotel and stay overnight after having some of the famous local dishes for dinner.

Day 5

Manali local sightseeing
Have the early morning breakfast and start with the local sightseeing tour in Manali where you will be covering some of the splendid sites namely, Hadimba Devi Temple also known as the Dhungri Temple, Manu Temple, Shiv Temple, Club House, Tibetan Monastery and also the Vashisth Village. Bring the day to an end by getting back to the hotel, having dinner and staying overnight!

Day 6

Manali- Delhi
Start your last day in Himachal Pradesh with a warm breakfast, and pack your bags to check-out from the hotel & Transfer to Delhi.
